Beef and tomato Pies

500g mince
2 onions, diced
3 medium tomatoes, diced
1 carrot, diced
1 celery stick, diced
½ red capsicum
1 tsp mixed herbs
3 cloves garlic
1 cup Napoli
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (or light soy)
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown onion and mince. Add vegetables and simmer for a few minutes. Add herbs and napoli and simmer for about an hour – make sure the mix is not too runny.

Allow to cool, add eggs and bring to the right consistancy with breadcrumbs.

Puff pastry

Use muffin trays to construct pies, brush with milk.
